課程概述 |
This course will investigate, with mathematical details, topics studied in intermediate macroeconomics and introduce some tools used in modern macroeconomics. The aim of the course is to bridge the gap between undergraduate and graduate macroeconomics. In this regard, this course will be of particular interest to undergraduate students who are interested in advanced approaches to macroeconomics. Topics will be covered mainly from a theoretical perspective, but empirical issues based on theory will also be discussed. Lectures will be given in English. |

課程要求 |
Students must have taken intermediate-level microeconomics, macroeconomics and statistics. Relevant mathematical skills (calculus, knowledge in optimization, mathematical statistics, etc) and knowledge in spreadsheets are required.
Although not required, knowledge in computer programming (such as MATLAB and Fortran) would be useful. |
